B2B RFQ TEMPLATE · UPDATED 22 OCTOBER 2026
Send a rolling shutter motor RFQ suppliers can answer.
A useful RFQ identifies the door, lifting arrangement, electrical supply, operating use, controls, quantity, destination and required documents. It also asks the supplier to return model-specific evidence instead of a price alone.

What should a distributor include in a rolling shutter motor RFQ?
A distributor’s rolling shutter motor RFQ should state the door type, opening width and height, curtain mass, shaft or tube size, lifting height, voltage, phase and frequency, expected cycles, controls, quantity by model, destination and required documents. Ask the supplier to return the recommended model, torque and speed basis, compatibility assumptions, kit contents, MOQ, lead time and warranty.
SIX RFQ INPUT GROUPS
Give suppliers enough information to check the application.
- 01
ApplicationDoor type, opening width and height, curtain material and mass where known.
- 02
Lifting systemRequired lifting height, shaft or drum arrangement, roller diameter and chain information.
- 03
Electrical supplyVoltage, single-phase or three-phase supply, exact frequency and permitted variation if specified.
- 04
Operating useIndoor or exposed installation, expected daily cycles and busiest operating period.
- 05
ControlsWall control, remote, controller, backup power or integration requirement.
- 06
Order scopeQuantity by configuration, destination, packaging, branding and required documents.

Replace the bracketed text and remove any line that does not apply. Unknown technical details can be marked “supplier to advise,” but the supplier should state the assumptions used.

Request a line-by-line supplier response →
Compare quotations by configuration, not by one unit price.
A motor-only price and a kit price describe different supply scopes. Give each requested configuration its own line ID, then ask the supplier to use that ID for the electrical response, component list and price breakdown. AC800-1P and DC-800 can be two enquiry lines; they are not an interchangeable pair.
Step 1 — Keep the model reference separate from the order configuration.
| Enquiry line | Published model reference | Supplier must return for this line |
|---|
| A | AC800-1P; 220V single-phase reference; 6 in roller | Quantity, required frequency, exact electrical version, controller, mounting/drive match and packing-list revision |
|---|
| B | DC-800; DC voltage and supply arrangement to confirm; 5 in roller | Quantity, DC working voltage, power-supply arrangement, whether any battery is requested, controller, mounting/drive match and packing-list revision |
|---|
Both published references list 800 kg.f advancing force, 9 m maximum raising height and a 10A chain. These shared fields do not establish the same door capacity or compatibility. The roller references differ. Supply actual door dimensions, curtain material and mass, the drive arrangement and operating requirements so the proposed configuration can be checked. Do not read 800 kg.f as approval for an 800 kg door.
Do not compare quoted watts, torque or output speed as an efficiency or performance ranking unless the supplier identifies the electrical configuration and measurement conditions. No DC voltage, battery inclusion or backup run time is assumed by this worksheet.
Step 2 — Ask what the unit price actually includes.
Use a separate component schedule for line A and line B. Complete every applicable row; mark a component “not required” rather than silently leaving it out.
| Component to define | Exact item/model and quantity per ordered unit | Included in the stated unit price, priced separately, or not required? |
|---|
| Motor | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| Controller/control box or receiver | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| Wall control | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| Remote controls | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| Brackets and agreed drive components | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| DC power supply and battery, if requested | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
| Other agreed accessories | Supplier to fill | Supplier to fill |
|---|
This is a response form, not a promise that every component is supplied. The written quotation and matching packing list define the agreed contents.
Step 3 — Request a reply you can reconcile line by line.
Copy the response structure below into your RFQ. Duplicate the configuration section for each model or electrical version you need. Keep different quantities or supply scopes on separate lines.

Check the arithmetic against the written scope: do not add an accessory charge twice when it is already included in the base price. Keep freight and any excluded charges visible. A blank charge field is not confirmation that the item is free or included. Resolve open electrical, component and delivery-scope points before accepting the quotation.
Next step: Attach your completed RFQ and request the response in the same line-ID structure. Review the confirmed model references, the supplier evidence checklist and control compatibility inputs when checking the reply.
RFQ questions, answered directly.
What information is required for a rolling shutter motor quotation?
Provide the door application, opening dimensions, curtain mass where known, lifting height, shaft or drum details, roller diameter, voltage, phase, frequency, operating use, controls, quantity, destination and required documents.
Can a supplier quote from only the door weight or kg rating?
A preliminary discussion may start from a rating, but the final selection should also consider torque, output speed, roller diameter, chain, lifting height, electrical supply, controller and the actual door mechanism.
Should an RFQ request a packing list?
Yes. Ask the supplier to identify the motor, controller, remotes, chain-drive components, brackets and every agreed accessory. A quotation photo does not define the shipment contents.
How should certification requirements be written?
Name the destination market and the exact certificate, declaration, test report, drawing or manual required. Ask the supplier to confirm that each document applies to the quoted model.
What commercial terms should be confirmed?
Confirm quantity by model, MOQ, order-preparation time, warranty coverage, branding scope, packaging, spare-parts handling, shipping responsibility and quotation validity.
What terms does YERQI publish before a final quotation?
Share the model, quantity, destination and configuration. MOQ, order-preparation time, warranty coverage and private-label scope are confirmed in the written quotation for that enquiry; do not assume fixed terms before confirmation.
YERQI product parameters are based on the owner-supplied AC/DC parameter sheets reviewed on 6 September 2026. Final suitability, safety devices, documents and local compliance remain configuration-specific.SEND YOUR COMPLETED RFQ
